The basics

By using GuestBook, you agree to these terms. We try to keep them short and human.

Your account

You're responsible for the activity in your account, including content uploaded by guests of events you host. Don't share your password.

Content

Guests retain ownership of the messages they submit. As the event host, you have the right to use, download, and share that content for personal purposes related to your event.

You may not use GuestBook to collect content that is illegal, harassing, sexually explicit, or that infringes anyone's rights. We reserve the right to remove such content and close the account.

Payment and refunds

Events are $10 each, paid up front via Stripe. Storage extensions are $5 per additional year. If your event experiences a technical problem that prevents it from working, email us within 30 days and we'll refund you.

Service availability

We do our best to keep GuestBook running smoothly, but we don't guarantee uptime or that the service will be free of errors. Things break sometimes; we'll fix them as quickly as we can.

Limitation of liability

GuestBook is provided "as is." To the extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the issue.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are significant, we'll email account holders.
